I just watched Glorious 39, which was the worst thing I've seen in ages. A muddled, extraordinarily implausible story that dissolves into mush in the last twenty minutes, poor acting from people who can certainly do better (David Tennant, who was basically good despite falling a bit into the movie's over-the-top-ness, is the honorable exception, but he's only in the film for about 15 minutes), and much much too much dreamily paranoiac atmosphere.

I thought Stephen Poliakoff was supposed to be good. Is his other stuff like this? Because if so I'll skip it.
