It seems to be true--he needed 270 electoral votes to win and he's now projected to have 290 (with several states still not called).

After the nightmare of the 2000 US elections, I'm always a bit nervous about projections, but . . . tentative yays indeed.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. And this was such a dirty race that I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to undermine the victory for as long as possible. But I hope they don't bother.
