okay, fine

Since everybody else is doing it: pick a day and give me a topic to post about. I reserve the right to decline any topic I'm not comfortable with, but that's pretty unlikely. Fannishly I'm happy to talk about current fandoms or old fandoms or things I'm interested in but not quite fannish about: this includes approximately everything apart from most of the big fandoms people are into right now (e.g. Teen Wolf). Nonfannishly I'm willing-ish to talk about my life (it sorts of depends on the question and possibly my mood, but even if I decide not to reply, I won't be offended that you asked), and glad to talk about food, cooking, tea, any books or TV or movies that don't fall into the "fannish" category, British history, British literature, the odd but not cool enough to be "indie" music that I like, atheism, being an atheist who finds religion kind of fascinating, trans* stuff, queer stuff, etc. etc. I'd prefer to avoid politics in the sense of current events or big political issues (e.g. the state of the US economy) because I'm not really all that well informed and it depresses me.
