It's snowing like crazy outside, but I am home and warm and starting my weekend at last, and I have a mug of hot chocolate with brandy in it. (I was always planning to give myself Thanksgiving day off from carbohydrate restrictions, but that's kind of gotten extended into tonight, because I have just worked seven days in a row, three of them longer than 8 hours, and I am tired and I want treats.)
Weather permitting, I may go and see Knives Out tomorrow. Weather not permitting, I will stay at home and eat things. (Note that I don't say cook things. Tired, and also my job now involves cooking, and so I have treats that only need to be heated up, if that.)
Happy Thanksgiving to all US folks who are celebrating. May you eat good food and not have any unpleasant arguments.
