My coworker, whom I interact with all day, just found out she has COVID.

We both wear masks at work, but I've definitely unmasked in her presence to drink water or whatever.

Of course I'm concerned about her, but also I would very much not like to get COVID.

And for work reasons, I'd very much like us not to both have COVID at the same time.

Thank you! It's been going around my workplace again, with fewer and fewer people masking. I've stayed masked, eaten my meals outdoors, etc., but there's so much stuff like unmasked customers getting way too close while asking questions, or unmasked coworkers coming back STILL COUGHING after being out with COVID. I feel like my good luck in avoiding it can't last.

I hear this. All the same, the more precautions I can take and the longer I can avoid getting it (and the more boosters there are that I can get), the more the possibility will exist that we'll find The Hammer and people who haven't gotten it won't have to worry about ever getting it and those that have gotten it won't have to worry about getting it again.
