I think a lot of us go for the gender-neutral option, going by the number of folk I know who did choose such names. With mine, the fem form of Alexander was my second name, so it seemed the best choice. Oddly, it has been seen as male, even though I know women called Alex!

With our system, you just fill out the form and pay them the money [that's the important bit]. You're only allowed to do it three times in your lifetime now. I guess there were some folk who were doing it more often, for some bizarre reason.
