Least favourite episode

That honor has to go to 3x09, "The Crossing." Not only did it kill off a character I was very fond of, but in order to make her death more melodramatic, established characterization was wantonly disregarded, with a Reese/Carter romance there'd never been a hint of before (or, mercifully, since) appearing out of thing air so that John could cry. Cheaply manipulative, fridgey, and horrible.

My original post, made right after I watched the episode, had more rage and capslock. I'm calmer now that the show seems to have found its bearings again, but I still think it was a terrible episode.
