gay French novel for sale

ETA: SOLD Actually, not sold yet, so if you want it, let me know.

I don't know if anyone's interested, but I have a copy of Dominique Fernandez's 1978 novel L'Étoile Rose to sell. It's a fairly famous work of French gay literature, which tells the story of a gay man who grew up in the 1940s/1950s, his closeted life, and the complicated effects of the gay liberation movement on his self-understanding. It's in French, not in English translation.

This book is rare-ish in the U.S. and goes for ridiculously large sums at online retailers. I can't sell my copy on Amazon because it doesn't match anything already in the system, so I thought I'd see if anybody on LJ wants it. It's a mass-market paperback from Livre de Poche, a bit yellowed with age but otherwise in good condition. No writing or highlighting, spine a bit creased but not broken, no loose pages.

I'm asking $10 U.S. plus $3 for U.S. shipping (or the cost of postage + $1 for the envelope for shipping elsewhere). Payment by PayPal unless I know you reasonably well, in which case I'll take a check.

If you're interested, leave a comment with your mailing address (all comments are screened) and I'll get back to you with my PayPal address.
