So after watching 1x05 I have a small question: So, is Marcus actually canonically gay/bi/queer? The demon said something to the effect of "I didn't think girls were your flavor," and I really need to know what that means. I don't want to get my hopes up and then be disappointed.

Yes. It's been confirmed by Ben Daniels, who is himself gay. I don't watch the show, but I have seen the relevant tweets collected for Tumblr. I can try to track them down. [edit] So I went to Daniels' Twitter and this had happened, which may serve just as well.

Randomly, Ben Daniels plays the ballet director in Flesh and Bone - I don't know if it's your thing, unless you're a balletomane, or you want to watch something dark and psychological. But the character is gay (or possibly bi - there's vague references to past female lovers but you only see him with men in the series.) He's really, really good in it. But it's dark. I liked it, but I'm a gruesome little monster who did ballet as a kid, so.

I'm loving Ben Daniels in The Exorcist, so I might check it out once I'm up to date with that. He's an amazing actor and I'm sorry I hadn't heard of him sooner.
