But especially Martin.

And also especially Jon, who is trying to trust people, and who finally burned Gerard Keay's page even though it scared him and hurt him to do it. I wondered, during "Family Business," if he'd really destroy it. I'm so glad he did. And sad that Gerard couldn't have lived to meet him, because Jon could use more friends.

Don't worry, Melanie: whatever is coming, I think it's going to hurt Jon plenty.

He chose kindness over knowledge; it's interesting that he was even capable of doing that. I wonder if he still can as of S4; I hope so.
