Want to order Jonny's forthcoming book Thirteen Storeys when it's released in the UK? Don't want to order from Amazon, but worried about the cost and trouble of international shipping?

The UK bookshop Blackwell's is offering free shipping to the US. My total cost was a little over $19, which is cheaper than US hardcovers. (This makes me wonder about US book pricing, but that's a rant for another time.)

Blackwell's are great. They have a fantastic brick-and-mortar store in Oxford (and a number of less spectacular ones elsewhere) and I've always found their online service reliable and efficient.

US books always strike me as hideously expensive, unless we're talking 'trades' (not really a category that exists in UK publishing), fwiw.
