DAAS picspam
I've been spending entirely too much time acquiring pictures of the Doug Anthony All Stars, so here's a picspam as attempted justification. These are all snagged from the web; I didn't create any of them and I don't own any of them. Well, except the shirtless screencap, which is mine, I tell you, MINE! *guards screencap with absurd jealousy* *not really*
These are uploaded onto tinypic.com, and heaven knows how long they'll stay there, so save any you want to see again. And if you have other pictures, please feel very very very welcome to post them in the comments!
The first, rather unattractive, version of the DAAS uniform. This is taken from the Unlimited Uncollectible Sterling Deluxe Edition DVD image gallery. The rest of those images can be seen here.

Another early pic, in which Paul has truly terrible 80s hair. He's wearing the almost-final version of the uniform.

DAAS busking, ca. 1989.

In Edinburgh, maybe?

Audience participation, DAAS style (i.e., whether the audience likes it or not).

Painting the backdrops, probably for Dead and Alive.

Looking dissipated. And Paul has managed to give himself anime hair, which I didn't think real people could do.

Aww, flowers.

Maybe they were auditioning for The Krays?

Paul backstage doing god knows what with that camera.

Lots of pictures in which Paul and Tim are slashy:

The boys go to heaven on The Big Gig

Apparently heaven entails Paul and Tim kissing.

Earlier, of course, they had discovered their attraction while making a video dating ad.

Further sexytiems from the DVD gallery.

The boys unleash their inner strippers on The Big Gig.

For a change of pace, a picture without Paul in it. How odd. Maybe Tim and Richard spiked his drink.

Tim shows us some old modelling tricks.

Here are some post-DAAS pictures:
Paul tries bleaching his hair again. At least this time the result isn't orange (cf. pic #2 above).

Sexy scruffy Paul.

Sexy sophisticated Paul.

Sexy Paul in a t-shirt, probably sometime during the first (1996-2000) run of Good News Week.

Paul hates it when the Good News Week audience shouts out the answers.

Really, I just have no idea why people write slash about Paul.

Paul and Tim earlier this year at the launch of Tim's book Cheeky Monkey.

Tim in 2000 with TV personality Charlotte Dawson.

Tim at the premiere of Tomorrow, When the War Began, 2010

There aren't many recent pics of Richard around, because he's mostly worked behind-the-scenes and in radio since DAAS split up. But here's one from a 2009 article.

And now, let's conclude on a silly note. I have no context for this picture, but it really doesn't need any.

My favorite hairstyle is when he had it all in braids, like in the "going to heaven" pictures; my least favorite is his long greasy hair ca. Dead and Alive. I do find the Tintin hair surprisingly cute, though.

XD The Tintin is awesome, I think. Talk about attitude. It's cute and it's weird and it's on Paul. You just never know what a guy with a plastic perfection of a Tintin cowlick will do next.
