I'm not doing any of the official November writing challenges like NaNo or Pico, but I have set the very modest goal of writing 200 words a day. I hope this will entail finishing the story I'm currently working on and perhaps writing one or two little things in addition. There will be occasional progress reports, but I'll try not to irritate you with them every day (for one thing, I'd be too embarrassed, given that NaNo participants will be talking about their 2000 words, to say much about my 200).

And of course I'll be signing up for Yuletide. *eagerly awaits the start of sign-ups*

I'm doing a smaller Nano, too, 1000 words a day. It's mostly to get me back into writing for Yuletide - I've only written two fics and a drabble this year. I'm entirely ready for my wordcount to drop lower, though. We can have small challenge solidarity!

1000 words a day is quite a lot! Although I'm a slow writer; maybe it's different for other people. Anyway, I'm all for small challenge solidarity, so: go us!
