lost link to sff/horror interactive website

On my old computer, the one that died last fall, I had bookmarked a website that I think was recced to me by someone in fandom. It purported to be the archive of an organization dedicated to controlling weird/dangerous phenomena, with descriptions and threat-level ratings and so on. The site wasn't a Wiki, but it was run (as I recall) in a Wiki-like way, where people could contribute "reports" that might be posted if the site members thought they were good enough.

It was a cool thing that I never explored as much as I'd like, and now I can't recall even the site's name. Anyone know? I have no idea how to even google something like this.

Oh god, I remember that because it is on one of TVtropes' Nightmare Fuel pages and I was always too scared to ever visit the site because just the descriptions freaked me out so much. Eta: which is probably why I have forgotten the name/url - out of self-protection.

Not everything on the site is nightmare fuel--there's some stuff that's funny/quirky. But the one entry on the site that had stuck in my mind was so horrific that I decided not to describe it in my request.
