I'm partway through the second episode of "Terminus," and . . . this is an AIDS allegory, right? I'm not just imagining that?

The date certainly works--1983 was, as I recall, towards the height of the AIDS panic, since the HIV virus wasn't yet confirmed as the cause and nobody knew for sure how the disease spread.

This story is giving me a very unnerving kind of déjà vu.

I think it might be. Because I remember thinking about the 'Scary Disease' on the news when I was watching that one originally.
