My book sale has been an overwhelming success. I've sold far, far more books than I imagined I would--almost everything I listed, in fact. I'm thrilled that my books will be going to loving homes instead of languishing forlornly on cold retail shelves (yes, I'm weird about books) and the money I've raised gives me a bit of a safety net, which helps my stress level enormously.

Thank you to everyone who has bought books, and a special thanks to those of you who mentioned this sale in your journals. Your signal boosting brought me a lot of orders I wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

Also, yesterday a worker at the post office gave me a free candy bar. (I don't know why--my guess is that she was doing a bit of moonlighting working as a product promoter, because it was a new variety of an established brand.) So I even got some chocolate out of the deal.

*hearts you all*

ETA: Also, now I totally get why spreadsheets are useful. They stop your head exploding from trying to keep track of masses of information. My book sale spreadsheet even has color-coding!

I've now seen through 6x06, "Sacrifice of Angels." And I know why attempting to watch just the first part of a seven-part megastory before bed is a bad idea (I was up until five o'clock in the morning).

I'm too busy due to my upcoming move to write up proper episode reviews, but here are a few thoughts.

As always, if you comment, please don't mention any spoilers (even minor ones) for anything past 6x06.
