what I actually said
Jun. 24th, 2012 07:08 amSomeone broke the privacy lock on a post I made, and in a post of their own, managed to make it sound like I have been criticizing
kink_bingo for including certain kinks, or attacking the nature of certain kinks. This is not true, but it's one of those cases where denials are never going to be very convincing.
So, for the record, below are the complete original contents of my post that was publicly misrepresented. I have not unlocked the original post because other people commented on it and I do not have their permission to make their comments publicly available.

Why am I tempted to sign up forComments on this post are closed because I don't want to discuss this any further.kink_bingo again? Last time, I utterly and shamefully defaulted. (It's been a couple of years, so I am eligible to try again.)
The problem is, there are many kinks on their list that I would love to write. There are also many that I do not want to write, or read, or think about. Last time, I got a square with so many kinks that are anti-kinks or squicks for me that I had no enjoyable way to make a bingo and I lost motivation to write anything for KB at all.
You can opt out of one kink that's triggering for you. But, while I wouldn't call any of them triggers for me, there are several I'd want to opt out of: anything with humiliation or hitting, animal play, breathplay [nearly a trigger], possibly "Masters Doms Slaves and Subs" although I might be able to find ways to work with it, Plushie/Furry (apparently just writing about fur, e.g. a fur rug or coat, isn't allowed for this kink; it has to involve the cartoon-animal or fursuit aspect), and watersports. (N.b. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with these kinks, they're just not my kinks.)
On the other hand, there's a substantial number of kinks on the list that I would love tohave an excuse towrite. "Class fantasies," anyone? I just dislike the nervous-making element of luck, which is also why I hardly ever participate anymore in ficathons that assign writers a request.
