That quarantine meme below. Note that there is some discussion of eating restrictions for diagnosed medical reasons. Nothing about weight per se.

1) Are you an Essential Worker? Yup: grocery store.

2) How many drinks have you had since the quarantine started? A couple? I'm not much of a drinker. I think I've had one beer and a couple of hot chocolates with a small slug of brandy in them.

3) If you have kids, are they driving you nuts? No kids, no housemates, and in any case I'm still leaving home to work most days.

4) What new hobby have you taken taken up during this? See above, re: still going to work. Sometimes, reading other people's quarantine posts makes me feel vaguely guilty, like I ought to be baking or knitting or writing a novel, even though I am Still At Work and Work Is Harder Than Before.

5) How many grocery runs have you done? I work in a grocery store. And I've tried to do most of my shopping there, even though we are small and have a weird/"healthy" selection. And expensive, although our employee discount has been raised a bit for the duration, and that helps slightly. I haven't been inside a store, apart from the one I work at, since the end of March, when I had to go into a local chain supermarket to pay my rent (using their payment services kiosk, because company that manages my apartment complex doesn't accept checks).

6) What are you spending your stimulus check on? I'm planning to donate $100 to a local food bank and try to save most of the rest.

7) Do you have any special occasions that you will miss during this quarantine? Nope.

8) Are you keeping your housework done? As well as usual, which is to say, not very. I scrubbed the kitchen floor yesterday, for which my reward today is a stubborn and unpleasant pain between my shoulder blades.

9) What movie have you watched during this quarantine? No concentration, can't movie. I haven't watched anything, not even the new episodes of Brooklyn 99.

10) What are you streaming with? I have All The Streaming Services, acquired when my eyes were bad and the only way I could physicall see films/TV was on my phone held right up to my face. So I have Netflix and Hulu and Amazon Prime, with Britbox and PBS added to the latter. And right now I'm not using any of them. I am using Spotify for music and Stitcher to access podcasts.

11) 9 months from now is there any chance of you having a baby? OH HELL NO. What kind of question even is that?

12) What's your go-to quarantine meal? Not in quarantine. Stressed to the max, and eating more sweets and carbohydrates than is good for me given that I am diabetic. I'm trying to stop that but it's not easy because the stress hasn't gone away. It's hard to be disciplined when it feels like the world is falling apart.

13) Has your internet gone out on you during this time? Nope.

14) What month do you predict all this ends? It won't end for ages. But with good luck and proper distancing now, I hope we'll see restrictions easing in June or early July.

15) First thing you're gonna do when you get off quarantine? Visit my favorite coffee place, probably. Here's hoping it'll still exist. And see a movie, if there's anything worth seeing.

16) Where do you wish you were right now? Private island. Not a tropical one; somewhere cool but not cold, where I could walk around in a light coat and a beautiful wool sweater, looking windswept.

17) What free-from-quarantine activity are you missing the most? It's not so much that I miss any specific thing, as that I miss the freedom to do things.

18) Have you run out of toilet paper and hand sanitizer? I don't keep hand sanitizer around, though after this I may start. I have enough TP, and my work has a small supply reserved for employees, so I can get more if I need it.

19) Do you have enough food to last a month? I am honestly not sure. I don't think I would starve, but by the end I'd be down to the Very Old Beans and things like that. I'm still trying to stock up little by little, but (a) I don't have much freezer space, so it's hard to stock up on the things like meat and frozen veg that would be most useful, and (b) I'm a bit wary of ending up--once the current crisis ends--with a huge amount of Emergency Food that doesn't fit how I'm normally supposed to eat. (The things that are easiest to stockpile, like canned or dried beans and grains, canned soups, crackers, etc. are things that don't play all that well with my normal meal plan. I can eat them, but it's supposed to be in quite limited quantities, with my meals centered much more around vegetables and low-carb protein. I mean, in the event of an actual emergency, fuck the meal plan. But it's better for my health to stay with the plan as much as possible.)

6: What a kind person you are!

11: I was so angry about that crap question I've replaced it. I must post my answers.

14: I agree. Things will be different from now on, no matter when distancing ends.

Same! It's very frustrating and doesn't play well with the general anxiety to come home from a busy day and then have my brain tell me NO REST GET BUSY.

My parents went on a tour of the Hebrides last summer, it would seem to be the ideal place for your windswept holiday.

I'm seriously considering going on one of the virtual tours of the Faroe Islands:
