if you're me, it's the weekend!

The first of two blessed days off, yay! (Pardon my gloating--before today I've only had one day off in the last twelve, so I'm bit giddy.)

Naturally, I feel like doing a meme. Gakked from penknife and slightly modified:

Pick a paragraph (or any passage between... let's say 100 and 600 words) from anything I've written, and comment to this post with that selection. I will then give you a DVD commentary on that snippet: what I was thinking when I wrote it, why I wrote it in the first place, what's going on in the character's heads, why I chose certain words, what this moment means in the context of the rest of the fic, lots of awful puns, and anything else that you'd expect to find on a DVD commentary track.

Puns are unlikely, actually. (Aren't you glad?) And 100-600 words includes quite a few of my complete fics, not just snippets.
