Inspector Morse 2x03, "The Setting Sun"

Terrible. Truly terrible. I was excited to see that the storyline related to Second World War FEPOWs ( = Far East Prisoners of War), but . . . no. Nonsensical plot, stilted dialogue, and the worst overacting (by the guest stars) I have ever seen on a professionally-made television show. Oh, yeah, and it was racist as well.

I went to the IMDB forums and was reassured that people who've seen the whole series think "The Setting Sun" was its worst episode. Thank heavens. Athough being informed and reassured by anything posted on IMDB forums is a weird experience all by itself.
