expanding the definition of "suit porn"

A quick note, as I must be off to work soon.
Person of Interest 1x16, "Risk," opens with a shot of Finch on his knees in front of Reese in semi-darkness. Tailoring his suit.
My reactions:
1) Finch does his own alterations? Really?
2) Hang on, who sews things in the dark???
3) Oh, show, tell me this isn't the direction you're choosing to go in. I've loved how the erotic-ish intensity between Finch and Reese is a natural outgrowth of their personalities and their situation. It's refreshing, and I don't want to lose that and have the show take up the Deliberate Queer Tease instead. I am heartily tired of the Deliberate Queer Tease, for one thing. The next time I see it, it had better damn well end in a Deliberate Queer Relationship onscreen.
I'll admit that while watching, the scene made me slightly gleeful, but also slightly uneasy. I had to think about it for a while to understand why it made me uneasy. And now that I'm thinking about it, I also note that there've been sixteen episodes so far and no LGBT characters at all.
Damn it damn it damn it. I don't want to have qualms about POI. I've been enjoying POI.

In other words the story isn't about their LGBT status so much as it's a story about characters who just happen to be LGBT. It's the same way the show is with female characters, who are equally as likely to be the hero, the villain, the killer, the agent, etc.
