Normally I hate spoilers and go to great lengths to avoid them. But I've just watched POI 2x08, "Til Death," which is the one where we get the first flashbacks of Harold and Grace's relationship, including the birthday scavenger hunt stuff. And I really, really have to know how much of this shit I'm going to have to put up with. I can't stand Grace, and I have tried to give her a fair shake, but her soppiness and the self-help clichés she speaks in are too much for me. (/rant, but if you want more rant, wait for my episode discussion post which will go up tomorrow)

What I need to know, in as vague terms as you can manage, is where this is going to go. Am I going to have to deal with this being a big thread for the rest of the season or even into S3? Is Harold going to somehow meet her again, so that the relationship becomes a factor in the present? The fact that the actor who plays Grace is Michael Emerson's real-life wife is making me very fearful that Grace is going to be around a lot.

Reassure me if you can, tell me the bad news if necessary. I don't need or want tons of detail, but I dislike this relationship so much that it's making me dread watching any more episodes. Or if Grace gets more tolerable, that's worth knowing too. I'll never like the pairing, but it would be nice to hate it less.

He's older than I thought! I looked up Carrie Preston and she's only been in 5 POI eps. (Well, so far.)

I would so watch that planned but never done series with Emerson and Terry O'Quinn. They're both wonderful actors.
