here goes nothing

I'm caught up on The Exorcist, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, and Bojack Horseman. I don't feel like watching S3 of Broadchurch right now (especially after binge-watching S3 and S4 of Bojack Horseman over the weekend, because while BH is nominally a comedy, both it and Broadchurch are mostly about the terrible things, large and small, that people can do). And I'll probably save The Dark for a weekend binge, especially since I'm planning to get a flu shot on Friday and will be tired all weekend as a result.

Therefore, I think it is time for my second attempt at Black Sails.

*contemplates with some trepidation*

I'll fortify myself with a cup of tea first.

Oh man yes, save Broadchurch S3. It's much better than S2 I thought but damn it's grim in as you said all the small ways.

Dark might best be watched when ALL your faculties are there, bc it's so darn complicated...but great! :)

Enjoy Black Sails! I wish I could get into it, bc everything I hear is great but I have yet to make it past ep 2...

Ep 2 was where I noped out too. Tonight I managed to make it through 25 minutes of episode 3 before I was so desperately bored I couldn't make it anymore. I might ask someone to spoil me enough that I can go straight to season 2, where it supposedly gets better. Then later if I care about the characters enough I'll go back and watch the rest of S1.
