Relistening to TMA S1, and I've just caught on that all three of Jon's assistants are named after classic horror writers: Martin Blackwood, Sasha James, and Tim Stoker.
I note with interest that all three of these authors were some flavor of queer. Could be a coincidence, but I doubt it.
I've heard nothing but praise since its first year. I don't tend to listen to podcasts; they are not a mode of narrative I can multi-task, which seems to be the way in which most people I know interact with them, and it takes a different kind of effort for me to pay attention to strictly spoken information as opposed to written, embodied, or sung. I don't have a better way to explain it. I understand you are offering a recommendation, not twisting my arm. The chances that I will ever listen to the entire series are slim, but I appreciate knowing it's out there.
(In case it was not obvious from space, podcast recommendations are traditionally one of the interactions that require me to explain my brain to people in order for them to back off trying to persuade me to listen to the podcast, which is totally not what you were doing, but I am afraid some of the tripwires still go off.)

I don't feel badgered. I just thought I should explain why you got a defensive blurt. I know there are things audio alone can do that no other medium can. I just listen to very few radio plays.
Sorry I don't know you, but: I can't multitask either, it's the only podcast I ever listened to, and as there are full transcripts, I motivated myself by putting it as "reading horror short stories, with sound atmosphere"
