So, it took me probably less than 60 seconds to realize that this tweet of Frank's is a joke. But it was not an enjoyable 60 seconds at all.

Because of Twitter chronology, I saw Frank's tweet before I saw Alex's tweets about being ill. I'm not sure if that made it better or worse.

I'm sure Frank thought it was obvious that they were joking, but . . .

On the other hand, I am charmed by watching the fandom suggesting that getting ill miiiiiiight have just possibly something to do with overwork and lack of sleep.

I happened to catch the very end of Jonny's stream last night, and he mentioned that Alex was supposed to stream on Sunday (with Quantum Leopard) but probably wouldn't. And added, "If you do see him, everyone tell him to take a nap."

Ooh, that's literally all my favorite Alex and Ben moments, handily in one place. Thanks! It'll be a great comfort listen as needed.

(I'm glad to know that Alex is well enough to have baked a Disaster Cake and joined the stream yesterday when he should have been taking a nap. He did seem a little subdued--even when not playing Yortle the Tortle--but clearly nowhere near death's door, which is good.)

I watched a little bit of the Quantum Leopard stream on Sunday, but I found (as I had already suspected) that I am sufficiently Not A Fan of James Ross that I couldn't stick with it even for Alex. Pity, because the game itself seemed good and I was interested in Autumn's GM-ing style, which is very different from Alex's.

Sometimes Alasdair seems to be the Unofficial Dad of Rusty Quill, and it is good.
