Agreed. I was a bit sickened by Federation Guy's implication that the morally pure course would have been to leave ickle!Jules as he was--borderline retarded and probably incapable of ever having an independent life.

It was a real shocker to me too. I'm glad I'm mostly unspoiled (although unfortunately I was spoiled about the genetic engineering revelation in 5x16, which is perhaps one reason why the episode didn't excite me all that much).
