True, very true. I guess the question is also how much it's going to spoil the rest of it for you. I have a triple method of ignoring what I don't like (rape jokes in Red Dwarf), fix-it ficcing (Boston Legal) or acknowledging and condemning the problem while still allowing myself to like those things I do like about the fandom (Boston Legal again).
