gavagai recently posted an X-Men:FC linkspam, including own commentary and a link to a wonderful, wonderful1995 interview with Patrick Stewart from back when he had played the butch gay interior designer in the movie Jeffrey. He talks a lot about masculinity and emotions and how he found new ways to access his own more vulnerable emotions and he also takes the TNG/Star Trek peeps to task for not being more queer-friendly when they had the chance. He even makes feminist statements! I was absolutely delighted.
