I've just started watching the first episode of "Earthshock," and the Doctor and Adric clearly need marriage counseling:

Adric: You don't pay enough attention to me!
Doctor: Oh, don't be so needy.
Adric: Right, that's it, I'm going home to my mother own people.

And yes, I do know what happens during this story. *is sad already*
