You know, I'm glad that Our Flag Means Death has become so popular. Hopefully it'll be renewed and hopefully we'll get more shows like it.

But all the cishet fans cooing over how adorable and sweet it is feels kind of . . . patronizing. Oh, those adorable queers! Aren't they just so cute!

please encourage AO3 to correct deadnaming

I've just noticed that the AO3's canonical tag for a nonbinary character in Our Flag Means Death deadnames them.
