I just watched 1x18, "Identity Crisis," and oh wow, that last scene: "Good night, Nathan." *wibble*
Also, Reese gets some awesome points for not asking Finch anything when Finch is vulnerable because of the Ecstasy. I love "You might regret it in the morning" and the implication that Reese cares enough for Finch not to, well, do anything to him without his full consent. Even if it's just a matter of asking questions. I'm not quite sure how that fits with Reese having had Fusco investigate Finch, though. I suppose Reese could feel more trusting now, but it hasn't really been that long ago.
I have also, obviously, watched 1x17, "Baby Blue," which handled the baby plot with a minimum of either syrupy sentimentality or clichéd wackiness. It was fun to watch Finch and Reese go through all the stress of new parents, with extra stress since babyproofing is harder when you keep grenades around. And this episode finally had a queer person in it! In a non-speaking role with his queerness as a plot point, but at least POI doesn't take place in the World Without Queer People.
