that went . . . well?

The Magnus Archives, through episode 120, "Eye Contact"
It would be kind of hilarious if the team spent season 4 trying to get Elias back. Because that was definitely not a good exchange.
Otherwise . . . well done, Martin! *hugs him lots* (But . . . I think it was almost too easy. Elias punishes/threatens Martin with something he mostly already knew and was able to cope with? And despite knowing that Martin's up to something, doesn't bother to check exactly what it is because he thinks he's got Martin figured out? Seems a trifle careless. Certainly Elias is arrogant, but that arrogant? There may be schemes within schemes, here.)
I kind of feel bad about Tim, but it seems to have been what Tim wanted.
And I wonder how long it was between the time this episode dropped and the posting of the first "Martin at Jon's bedside" fic on AO3. I'm guessing an hour and a half, tops.
