I read a story once where a woman is in an airport, trying to catch a connection, and everything goes wrong and she can't find her gate no matter how often she tries, and if she does locate it then the flight's delayed and moved to a new gate, and etc. etc. Eventually it becomes clear that she actually died in a plane crash and is in hell.
