Some sentences from the WIP. Yes, still the same WIP. I think it's just going to keep growing until it eats the known universe.
After the fancy party, Ed is having some Feelings. And also, I answer the musical question "Where the hell is Ed sleeping on the Revenge anyway?"
So here Ed was again in the little cabin Stede had designed for one of his kids. It was pretty nice. It had wallpaper and paintings of animals and an actual hanging cot that proved Stede knew how beds on ships were supposed to work but just didn't care. Nobody stayed in here, normally. Did Stede still hope that someday his kids (and his wife, don't forget his wife) would come and sail with him?
He hadn't made a cabin for his wife. She'd been meant to share his bed with him.
