If your skin no longer amplifies sweet notes as much
It's making me think I should re-try some BPALs after all, because I know what they used to smell like on me and I'd like to see if it's different now.
Also . . . maybe my nose just isn't very sensitive, but so far I'm not really feeling a huge difference between BPAL perfumes and the supposedly much more sophisticated ones I've been trying. Though that could be because my skin is destroying half the notes (and I do think the problem in this respect is my skin and not my nose, because when I sniff things in the vial I get a lot of bright fresh notes that either disappear in 10 seconds on my skin or aren't there at all).
