another drive-by Sanctuary reaction

I'm watching the beginning of 2x08, "Next Tuesday," and for some reason Will's kink for all things Icelandic is the first really endearing thing I've learned about him. Is that weird of me?
Also, the Big Guy and Henry go on vacations together. *hearts* I ship them so verydisturbingly much.
I'm finding Kate slightly more bearable, probably because she's not as whiny or as innuendo-y anymore. But I did have a weird moment in the last episode, "Veritas," watching the bit where Henry's sitting alone grieving and she comes up and talks to him. Because in the less than 24 hours since I'd last watched an episode, I'd managed to forget that she was still on the show. Remembering the truth was an unpleasant shock, especially since I hated to see her written in to a moment that should have been about Henry, emphatically not about her. *tries to adjust to the fact that Kate's not going away*
ETA: When I start reading Sanctuary fic, which won't be until I'm caught up on the eps, I really hope to find some that takes a critical stance towards the organization. Because a lot of what they do is actually pretty damn sketchy. You know, the whole "seize sentient beings from their homes, forcibly remove them to Sanctuary headquarters, study them without their consent, and then keep them there until they die" thing.

That kind of bothered me. I always imagined that Sally the mermaid can come and go as she wishes, and there are obviously creatures that aren't sentient in the Sanctuary, but still.
I'm glad Kate's not as awful as you first found her. I actually really like her, and kind of ship her with Helen.
