Last night I was browsing through YouTube for clips of my new obsession, Ryan "How are you so hot? No, really, how? Because you're not my usual type and yet you're hotter than nuclear fusion" Robbins.

I found this rather interesting short film, "The Masculine Mystique," made by Mitch and Murray Films and starring Robbins. Some of it may make you roll your eyes (straight men talking about Woman the Mystery is never good), but what the film does well, I think, is explore the way (straight) male friendship is both structured by homosocial misogyny (women are strange and fickle, so who can men really trust but other men?) and sharply restricted by homophobia.
Also, Ryan Robbins is sweaty and shows off his beautifully developed arms.
