Even though I'm not in the Buffy fandom anymore, and I stopped reading the "season 8" comics after [older spoiler] skip) Ethan was killed, and I never considered them canon to the TV series anyway, I am nevertheless really freaking pissed off to learn that [ginormous new spoiler] skip) Joss killed off Giles. That is just WRONG. WRONG, I tell you. And Angel did it (he was possessed or something) and he snapped Giles's neck in a way that was supposed to remind us of Jenny Calendar (who of course was Giles's Real True Love OMG), and it's all just so stupid and pointless I could spit. *growls* Fuck that bullshit. Giles is alive and well and living in London with Oz, or perhaps with Ethan, depending on my mood. And Joss Whedon could kindly move on now to something new and not horrible, instead of systematically tearing down the nice things he made years ago.

To be clear, my spoilers are not the only stupid, horrible things that apparently happened in the S8 comics, but they're the ones I care most about.
