housing update

kindkitSomeone has kindly and generously volunteered to be a guarantor for me. There are really no words for how grateful and relieved I am. I've been literally sick with worry for days.
Those people who say the internet isn't "real" friendship or "real" community are wrong. Friends I only know online, and also friends-of-friends who only know me as part of fandom, have helped me through crises both material and emotional. And once or twice I have (I hope) been able to help others a little. That's as real as real can be.

And thanks to everyone who sent good wishes. It's good to know that people care (and also distressing to know how many folks out there are, like me, barely getting by economically--I hope things get better for all of us).
